Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is a pathogen of major concern due to its ability to withstand both first- and second-line antibiotics, leading to drug resistance. Thus, there is a critical need for identification of novel anti-tuberculosis agents targeting Mtb-specific proteins.
