The GcFBPA and GcGALE peptides for the production of polyclonal antibodies were designed using GenScript custom peptide synthesis service (GenScript, USA, New York) by OptimumAntigen™ Design Tool (GenScript, USA, New York) (Supplementary Table 2). The supply of agar as an important gelling and thickening agent in various industrial applications depends heavily on harvesting of natural seaweed resources and seaweed farming.
