We have recently demonstrated that a small molecular weight amino-terminal peptide of L-plastin (10 amino acids; "MARGSVSDEE") suppressed the phosphorylation of endogenous L-plastin. Therefore, the formation of nascent sealing zones (NSZs) and bone resorption are reduced.
